She might not come out an ask for one, but here's a fact: Getting a push present is never a bad idea. Push presents, gifts you get new moms after the birth of their baby (or babies), are hugely popular these days. She put a lot of work into making that new family member, after all! But if buying gifts for her isn't exactly your strength, you may want a little push (ha!) in the right direction.
The most important thing, and we cannot stress this enough, is to consider the person you're gifting for. Not all women want luxury skincare products. Get a KitchenAid mixer for a woman who's never baked cookies beyond a Tollhouse loaf and you might find yourself sleeping on the couch tonight. Everyone is different!
With that disclaimer out of the way, we're confident you'll find something right for her in the gifts compiled below. Skincare and kitchen gifts aside, we have cozy gifts to comfort her the postpartum days, gifts to entertain her in the endless hours of the newborn stage, and gifts that will remind her that she's not just a mom, she's a cool human being. (And don't worry, these don't all come with extravagant price tags!)
If gold earrings are her go-to, I can't recommend flat back studs enough. Rather than traditional earrings that come with a butterfly clasp, flat back earrings come with a post that can lay flush against your skin. This makes these extremely comfortable for everyday use, even when your daily life includes multiple naps.
Framed photos are a thoughtful way to commemorate this special time in your lives, whether the pictures are of the mother-to-be cradling her tummy in a series of candids (hint, hint) or of the latest family member in a newborn photoshoot.
An unfortunate side effect of new parenthood? Aches and pains. Your feet hurt from pacing the nursery at night, your neck hurts from providing constant feedings, your back hurts from, well, everything. The Theragun Mini will soothe her poor muscles and while it's compact enough for her to operate on herself, you should probably help her out.

Amazon reviewers are all about these cozy slippers from Dearfoams. They come in nine patterns — white with rainbow writing is cute, too — and four size options.

Ice Cream Gift
McConnell's Fine Ice Creams Pint of the Month Club
Never again will you face the crushing realization that you forgot to get her favorite ice cream at the grocery store! McConnell's Pint of the Month Club is actually a misnomer; you get four pints every month. There are three tiers of membership: three months, six months, and 12 months. The more months you select, the cheaper the scoops.
I tell anyone who will listen that this was the best gift I got from my husband before the birth of our first child. The Nintendo Switch Lite comes in clutch during "lazy" days where your newborn is napping in your lap, late-night feedings, and whenever you have some downtime. I crushed through Stardew Valley before our daughter even started mandatory tummy time.

Not-a-Diaper-Bag Bag
MZ Wallace Medium Metro Tote Deluxe
I'm guessing she has a diaper bag (or two) on the baby registry, so why not get her a bag that's just for her? I love this MZ Wallace tote because it's big enough to hold everything I need, plus the baby basics (aka diapers, wipes, bottles, etc.) if the newborn does tag along. The best part about this bag is that it's fully washable, so if something spills, just toss it in the washer and it comes out looking brand-new. How do I know this? Because I've spilled many liquids in my own MZ Wallace bags.

Sweet Gift for New Mom
Willow Tree "Our Gift" Figure
If she's more of the sentimental type, Willow Tree has a variety of hand-painted sculptures that fit the occasion. You could opt for one that just has mommy and baby, or mom and dad kneeling to look at baby. (On a personal note, my mother-in-law got us the latter and it's my now-4-year-old's favorite bedside token.)
Is she a handbag gal? Add to her collection with a colorful Melie Bianco bag. These vegan leather handbags are a favorite among Amazon reviewers.

Yes, a bidet. The days after giving birth are not the most, er, comfortable, so ease her pain with a bidet from Tushy. You could opt for the classic 3.0 Bidet, but the soothing warm water feature of the Spa model makes a huge difference during those early postpartum days.

Comfortable Shoes
Birkenstock Arizona Footbed Sandal
Comfortable shoes are an absolute must for new moms, and while Birkenstocks may not have been Barbie's first option, even she eventually came around. These ones are a neutral pink with a subtle shimmer — ideal for wearing while traipsing back and forth from the nursery.

This cult-favorite hand cream is a little bit of luxury — bedside. If nice skincare products are something she loves but rarely splurges on herself, she'll be really excited about this.

File this under: "Things She Wants But Would Never Buy Herself." The Dyson Airwrap™ is a hugely coveted beauty item that will make her hair routine that much easier. (And really, any product that expedites the post-shower process is an MVP.)
If you didn't get one on your wedding registry, now is the perfect time to invest in a KitchenAid mixer. This is the standard model, which comes in over 20 colors, or you can get one that comes with a pasta attachment or slicer/shredder attachment. (Getting the combo will reduce your color choices, so I recommend buying separately!)
You know what she wants more than a hand-written "I O U a massage" certificate from you? A massage from actual professionals. A 90-minute session at Massage Envy is $128, so $150 will cover the appointment and tip. Done and done!

Pregnancy and postpartum can really rock the way women feel about their bodies; remind her of how miraculous and beautiful she is with this feminine necklace that celebrates her form.
This is one of my favorite items from Minted: a custom portrait of your home. In this case, it'll be the home where you welcomed your child. You might not always live there, so this drawing will serve as a treasured reminder for your whole family.

Food Gift
Bartolini's Thin Crust + Deep Dish 4-Pizza Combo
I don't want to speak for all women, but I will: We don't want to cook dinner after giving birth. We're tired. You know what we do want? To throw a deep dish pizza pie in the oven and eat the whole thing by ourselves. This four-pack from Chicago's beloved slice shop Barolini's allows you to choose which pizzas you want and you'll get the box on your doorstep within a week.

How cute is this? She might have to wait a few weeks until you're able to sneak an imprint of baby's foot and a couple of stealth pictures, but she'll be so happy when you surprise her with the finished product.
